This year's coding activity at the Wee Write Family Day involved an updated version of the "Choose Your Own Adventure" books:Code Your Own Adventure. Using the free Twine website, our participants created web stories where the choice involves clicking a link rather than turning a page. You can read some of the interactive stories created at Mitchell Library by clicking the links below.
Our writers started from a very basic outline that led the reader through various points in the building not open to the public. They then added text and code, revealing the creatures, mysteries and surprises hiding in the library's labyrinthine depths...
Note: To preserve an air of mystery all our writers are writing under noms de plume. Not all the stories are complete as there was too much story and not quite enough time at the session!
